Collecting used refrigerant from customer
For receipt of used refrigerants, TEGA provides dedicated cylinders (see download files here).
These so-called recycling cylinders are available in 2 versions, i.e. for A1 and A2L type refrigerants and in 2 cylinder sizes (12.5 l and 61 l) each. They are equipped with dual valves enabling transfer of both gas and liquid phase of the used refrigerant.
TEGA recycling cylinders are neither supposed to be filled with A3 type refrigerants nor with ammonia. High-pressure refrigerants require a special cylinder type which TEGA only offers for receipt of R-469A (WT69) but not for R-744 (CO2).
