3.) Regeneration of refrigerant

Following analysis and separation, the different types of refrigerants are collected in individual drums. By distillation, each refrigerant type is regenerated separately. Distillation moves the regenerated material into a clean container while moisture and oil impurities stay behind.

After this purification, the regenerated refrigerant is analyzed again and checked whether quality is in line with AHRI 700 specification (= international refrigerant quality standard). In case of successful quality check, i.e. regenerated refrigerant type found to be in accordance with respective AHRI 700 specification, the regenerated refrigerant type is released for transfer into cylinders.
