Anyone renovating their house now comes up against the question of whether to replace the existing heating system with a more modern system.
Here, heating with LPG offers a number of different possibilities for many house owners and developers to manage the heat and energy supply efficiently and sustainably within their own four walls.
A new heating system costs money, but in return it offers significant savings on energy costs in the medium and long term.
Consumers who want to replace their old oil heating with more efficient and environmentally friendly heating technologies have also been able to benefit from public subsidies since the beginning of 2020.
More information about the subsidies can be found on the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) website, bafa.de.
Applications for subsidies can be downloaded from BAFA online. LPG heating systems also have roughly 15 percent lower CO² emissions in comparison with heating oil systems.
In addition, maintenance-free gas appliances ensure low upkeep costs. LPG is also the lowest carbon and therefore the most environmentally friendly source of energy which is currently available in Germany for industrial and household use without a natural gas mains connection.
The heating technologies available are diverse and particularly efficient, like solar thermal energy for example, and they protect the environment in comparison with oil heating.
With LPG, innovative solutions such as condensing boiler heating, a gas heat pump or a cogeneration unit can also be used in places where there is no connection to the natural gas mains, in particular in rural areas and water conservation areas.
